Abstract: A non-linear model for dynamic studies of hydroturbines is proposed. The model of a single turbine and its water supply conduit is given in the first section of the paper, together with a paraneter estimation from field tests. The second section is devoted to the modeling of multiple turbines supplied from a common tunnel, taking into account the hydraulic coupling effects. Comparisons between simulation results and experimental data are presented.
